She stood there for so long that she'd lost track of time,
She couldn't turn back,
She wasn't sure which way to turn ahead,

So many paths to choose from,
And yet no direction for her,
Life had brought her to this strange point.

Her feet felt rooted to the ground,
The image she'd conjured in her mind when she'd begun her journey didn't seem to exist anymore.
Had she bargained for this life?
She'd asked herself this question a million times...

Her mind was full of questions,
Unanswered....
She stood at crossroads,
Lost,

Deserted,
All alone,
Her eyes were blurred with her own tears.

She could think no more,
Her mind had gone numb,
No more thoughts,
No more pain,
All that was left was a void in her heart...

It was the silence before the storm,
The Struggle had just begun...
